I can see now how it might apply for this doc now, but as a general rule for docs I really don't think so. I'm generally really good about spoilers around here. Spoiling a documentary is like spoiling a textbook or spoiling the news to me. It just sounds silly to me.

Why does it sound silly?? Obviously 5his wasn't a huge news story that the average person was familiar with right? Why would you think it would be ok to revestory tbat people werent aware of as opposed it's fictional counterpart?

I'm not saying there isn't a spoilers cut off, but I just think when the OP says he's in the middle of watching it everyone should preface with spoilers if they're giving somewthing away. I'm probably just being a hardass about it though.
