Gonzales brought it on himself. After a road rage incident, his first instinct was to follow the guy to his house, pull in his driveway, and then go after him. I wouldn't have shot the guy unless he had a gun, but I certainly would've beat him half to death.

Doyle screwed himself and got charged because of one sentence. I bet he regrets saying that. Charges aren't gonna get dropped, but I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't convicted based on the fact that he feared for his and his wife's life. A good lawyer can win that case pretty easily.

I had a buddy in a similar situation, but the road raged guy behind him was ramming his truck. He followed my buddy to his house and went after him and his gf. My buddy beat him with a baseball bat, and the guy ended up going into a coma and died a month later. He had a wife and three kids too.

My buddy wasn't ever charged with anything because of the damage to his truck and the fact that the guy came to his house. The wife tried to sue, but ended up losing.

I've learned having friends like this means you're probably a shitty person. These kind of things do not happen to good people, and they do not happen to the friends of good people. You know, the whole birds of a feather thing.
