He pulls it out of his pocket to show the camera with the comment "put this (indicating gun) on the Internet." You clearly see the gun going IN the pocket a second before. I see no motions reaching into the pocjet prior, so I assume that is what it is referring to. Trying to make something out of nothing due to an old video. Which is sad, because there is a lot there to attack from them going out of line to make making shite up unneeded. Newsflash: just because you get the charges dropped doesn't mean you aren't guilty. It just means the DA doesn't feel like he can prove guilt. What if the cop violated a procedural code during the arrest that makes the gun find inadmissible, such as putting it in his own pocket without formally documenting it. You do realize in such a case they would have to drop the charge regardless if they found it loaded in his pocket? This post was edited on 7/24 at 11:48 pm
Give it up. Cop pulled it from his own pocket at about 32.
And just as in your attorney scenario, they could have agreed to drop all charges, settle out of court with the stipulation that he not pursue the planting of the gun.
Some of you act as if officers never ever plant guns. There is a documented history of this kind of stuff in Philly. Don't you think just every once in a while it will be caught on film?
As far as the cop holding it up for the camera, no one has ever accused cops of being smart.

Yes.
A second after putting it in.
Do you really not see that?

Wat? I really didn't see this insinuation happen anywhere. So because it was done before, it happens all the time? Solid logic there.

And you think they settle out of court all the time when they do procedural error, do they? In fact, the fact that they didn't settle is actually arguing my point. Do you not realize how frequently charges are dropped because the damning evidence is made inadmissible in court due to cop frick ups?
And you expect me to think that you wouldn't be here making this same exact thread if they had done that, except this time crying that they were trying to extort a gag order from him to save themselves.
EDIT:
Ahh, I think what I see what you are referring to. Although you don't see him actually pull it from his pocket.
The problems:
1)Why, when hidden from the camera doesn't do it standing up and instead punches the suspect with no overt reason, arguably it is the appearance of the gun. Better to plant it in that position with all angles covered if you were going to do it.
And spare me the bullshite "Well cops are stupid hurr hurr"
2)That punch is awfuly light (although still inexusible). Why? I mean, why even do it if you are going to do it that lightly. And what is that black thing in the officer's hand in the punch? Looks like the handle of the gun with the gun inside the officer's closed hand. Note that this happens prior to what you are seeing when they get the suspect on the ground.
So what was that if not the gun? Or is your argument that he is actually a retarded ninja, capable of feats of extreme stupidity when needed, but also can put one item in his pocket, and grab another incredibly rapidly.
