I love brunch. Not so much for the social event aspect.. i actually love the food. Sure, it is basic ingredients. But poached eggs and hollandaise are awesome. Pair that with a rich grillade dish.. or fried oysters.. or a crab cake? Yes yes yes. The idea of combining breakfast ingredients with meat/seafood is fantastic to me.

Oh, and I can chow down on some blueberry waffles with bacon on the side any time of day too.
