So I went on Facebook, and one of my fraternity brothers had posted he lost his lab today, too. Maybe that means something, maybe it's just a coincidence. I'd like to think it means she has a buddy to go with her on her journey.

You gave that dog the life that all other dogs wish they had.

We had to put a collie down a few months ago. He had some kind of spinal problem. He was only 5-6 yrs old. Now his dad is about 13-14 and he is wondering around, not knowing where he's going and shite. He doesn't appear to be in pain, but has problems getting from laying down a good bit. I hate it more for my 2 sons, (19 and 24) and the wife. That damn dog grew up with those young men. It has to be done soon and I am dreading the day, but I got it to do.
