Surprisingly, I didn't see this topic on the first few pages.
We'll be eating somewhere tonight. Considering melting pot but mestizos, portabellos, and Ralph and kacoos menus all look good. Where's everyone going? Where's the best deals?
The $35 steak options sound great but $30 is my cutoff.

I wouldn't go to Ralph and Kacoo's if it were free. Last time I was in there the food was edible but not worth the price and the bathroom smelled of urine so strongly that you could smell it a good 10 feet before you got to the door. The bathrooms are near the lobby area, so that is a great welcome.
We went to Cheesecake Bistro last night. I know it isn't anything special but for $20 I got a cup of French Onion Soup (theirs is one of the best in town, surprisingly), the Crawfish Ravioli and a slice of the Fudge Brownie Cheesecake. $20 for what would have been closer to $40 any other day. It is one of the places actually offering a true DEAL.

I'm looking for opinions on any good deals for restaurant week. Of all the available options for between $20-$30, where would you go? I'll likely have to go tomorrow as I'm busy the rest of the week

We ended up going to portobellos (bocage). Zero complaints. Good service. Good food. I got the pork chops and wife got the filet. Split a bottle of Pinot ($20) and the carrot cake and tiirmasu were excellent.
