re: verdict reached in Colorado theater shooting: GUILTY

Unfortunately, this is Colorado, where we have an idiot for governor. The justice system may sentence Holmes to death, but that doesn't mean anything here. In 1993, another mass murderer by the name of Nathan Dunlap was found guilty of murder, and sentenced to death. After 20 years worth of appeals were finally exhausted, a district judge in 2013 finally was able to set the execution date for August 2013. But our lovely governor stepped in, and stayed the execution, because he didn't like the death penalty.

Seems like the justice system and the will of the people mean nothing to some in charge...
