I would have no problem living with a black roomate, but I would not be crazy about living with a female...

to be totally honest, I have been around oxford a bit and frankly, wouldn't want to deal with the social stigma that would result...Oxford is a very small and very tight knit town and rumors would fly about the two of you the day you arrived in town that would just add unnecessary complexity to both of your lives...

You have no idea what you're talking about. None. Zero.

I lived there for 6 years. Its a South African grad student that is his roommate. He isn't bringing a hoodrat black chick to rush parties and trying to get a bid.
