If someone tried to shut me out of my child's recruitment, I'd tell them to get the frick away. It's cool to have someone who has been through the process to give advice, but to completely shut the parents out is ridiculous, and the parents need to put their foot down.

He isn't telling this to the parents. He convinces the kids that it's the way it works. The parents don't know any better

These kids probably do not come from great homes if the behavior is permitted
