re: What can the OT tell me about Pilondial cysts?

Been living with mine for 20 years. It is more of a nuisance than anything and flares up about once a year though not as bad as the initial flare up where I had to have it lanced and drained back in college. The must have ointment for anyone with this cyst is Iodex. You wont find it in your local pharmacy but can get the pharmacist to order it for you or look online. Whenever I feel mine flaring up I apply the ointment for a couple of days and the pains and swelling are gone. This simple ointment has allowed me to live comfortably and not undergo surgery.
