I'm not sure if you are broadcast switch mentioned below or something else but that has been happening for years. They are pushing the liberal green agenda hard lately. Last year they started using E85 in the cars, ... ironically good old corn squeezins.

NBC? I don't think they've been involved for several years. They went Fox, TNT, ABC/ESPN the past few years.
NBC last did NASCAR in 2006. Back this year.
