I loved watching Pete Rose play baseball while I was growing up.... There is a reason they called him Charlie Hustle. Seemed to be the all-American kind of guy that played the game the way it was supposed to be played.. And he was damn good... A very key factor of the Big Red Machine of the 70's.... I was very upset when I found out he bet on Baseball as a manager.. BUT yet I still thought he should be in the HOF as far as a player... BUT IF he bet on the game at all while he was playing and games he was involved in, I can't accept....
