Or you could just add one of these to your Weber Kettle

I gave my weber pizza setup another go last night. I'm still clunky with getting the temp up, but after some trial and error, I got it up in the 875F range.

Ragin, those pies look great, but the top browning seems a bit light. Have you considered adding a steel plate on top to reflect heat downward onto the pie? (Like the pizza kettle baking steel setup) 875 degrees is plenty hot enough, if you get some heat directed down to facilitate top browning.

Thanks. I'll probably monkey with it a bit. This was just the second time I fired it up. It wouldn't be difficult to add some hardware to sit a top pizza steel. So far, I'm pleased as punch with my $89 purchase. The crust is already miles better than I could get in my oven + preheated cast iron hack. Plus, it doesn't heat up the kitchen at all.
