Perhaps, but I don't see a big deal with the sauce. If I'm having a boiled crawfish salad with leftovers, I want a dressing and usually something like remoulade. Not a lot of difference in that and dipping.

I assume you also eat plain hamburgers, French fries without ketchup, coffee with no cream, pancakes with no syrup , toast with no butter, and salads with no dressing

Since their preparation should speak for itself
