I hope it won't take another Hallman era in sports to get their minds right again.

Experience that shite and people will be longing for the good old days when we were in contention. I just don't think many of these people have a very good grasp on just how fortunate and blessed LSU has been. They think it's a birth rite of sorts, and don't get me wrong. I want LSU to be in a place to contend, and I'll always be an LSU fan. I just can't say I'll be an LSU fan fan.

You grew up as a kid in the seventies watching LSU football as I did Mike. You remember when eight wins and a bowl game was a successful season. Younger fans today have no conception of that mentality. I am glad that I grew up in that time so that I was able to appreciate the success LSU had later. When all you know is success as a fan from a young age well, I don't know what that is like. LSU certainly wasn't considered a powerhouse in any sport when we were growing up.

No need to go there, but yeah, the younger fan base is pretty pathetic overall.

However, game 1 was pretty pathetic performance and I do not think being critical of PM here is out of line. The guy just seems too tight to me and it reflects in his teams in recent post seasons (Supers & Omaha).

That was an implosion yesterday and uncharacteristic of how they played all year until now, when it really matters.
