We're still relatively within the timeline - Riverrun is still under siege as far as the show is concerned (isn't it?).

So, LSH hanging a Frey at random would still work. For production purposes, they may have to tie it to LSH/Jaime/Brienne/Pod shortly thereafter, but it could still work - I think.
