I think that's a little of an overstatement, and too early to tell, the DC-10 was pretty bad at first then went on to be a fine airplane, same with the MD-11, it was so bad when we first got it all of the mechanics called it the scud, it went on to be a good one, I do know that airlines are disappointed because the Feds didn't grant them a common type with the 777, but they always bitch over pennies while dollars are flying out of the window

Appreciate the thoughtful reply. Perhaps the plane will be what we all thought it was once they finish working out the kinks.
