My kids are 9 and 11. And love the beach more than Disney. We took them the one time just so they could see what it was all about. We do several small vacations a year and usually one big one.
We let them choose this year, and they chose Roatan, Honduras. Can't wait to head that way next week.

I don't get some of these people in here who are like my kid has been to this many countries or my kid will go to all these countries. What benefit is it to take kids overseas and deal with that especially while they can't really appreciate it.
My wife and I stick to zoos and water parks and amusement parks while our kids are young and once they are in their teens, then we can play more adult overseas trips. Otherwise you are just having delusions of grandeur.
