Because they are distributed through Twelve Percent imports. You basically have an extra tier in the distribution system.
Any US brewery that we get through an importer is going be priced on the high side by the time it gets here: Prairie, Jolly Pumpkin, Anchorage, etc.
ETA: This is why you hear of bottle of Prairie BOMB being $6 dollars in Oklahoma, but they are $10 here.
