Yep, its usually 5k and your boss's carrier will cut you a check real quick if you waive the liability claim which if its your boss would be a good idea. But that's none of my business.

Assuming you've incurred $5000 in bills.

You may not even have to waive as they may deny liability and have the medical apply.
