Its hard to trust people these days, but he says that they both run fine if those were installed. Said they both have good compression. I dunno. It might be worth it to give it a shot.

The owner of the other boat just agreed to give me a trolling motor to use. It is a 50 lb thrust foot operated. Should I even bother trying to take it out with just that? Not sure how maneuverable it will be having to go by my foot. I've only seen them used when fishing, never as the main propulsion.
