This softball game is not an LSU event. This is an NCAA event that just happens to be in Baton Rouge. It would be as if the baseball team pulled up to a concert and thought that they could simply walk in.

I'm picturing a big group of the players walking up to the gate with Bregs swag walking in front. Then them getting turned away and going to Fred's to watch the game.

regardless how it works, the baseball team should be allowed to attend the event at their home school even if it's ncaa tourney. they should get that privilege to show support. but that's just an opinion.
