Soft plastic with very small weight or no weight fished on downstream side of laydowns. Always works on the small creeks/rivers that I have fished. Caught 80 bass between 6 of us a few weeks back on the Guadalupe that way. Rooster tails, beetle spin, and fly also work just not quite as easy to fish as plastic.

This is what I came home with. Will report back with the results. Will probably mostly be fly fishing but will definitely give these a shot.
