I guess my point is, what the hell is the point with Theon?

That's why people keep watching the show - nobody knows.

This isn't a 2 hour movie where in the end, all the good guys win and live happily ever after.

No one knows what will happen or who will die - that was proven by the writers when Ed Stark was killed off in the first few episodes.

The Starks were probably among very few people who could be considered good guys and look at how many of them they have already killed off.

The Theon payoff is coming imo...they wouldn't have had the near rescue and now the Sansa stuff if they were going to have Ramsey win that conflict

It has to be, right? Like if Theon died, literally no one would care from a sentimental standpoint. The only thing we'd care about is that they wasted about 2 hours of the last few seasons on his pointless story.

This is different than the comparison to the show ax-ing Ned in Season 1. That had a purpose and served a valuable lesson to not only the characters but also the show viewers.

At this point, I don't want Theon to get any redemption. How many people has he directly and indirectly led to get killed by his poor choices? How many chances has he had to get his redemption and been too afraid to get it? Will there actually be viewers who will feel good for Theon if he kills Ramsay now? He shouldn't be allowed any redemption at this point, it's too late. Ramsay should be killed by someone with virtue if they want to reward a payoff. frick Theon.

has not been a disaster in dorne? the scene where they eat snake?

The Dorne storyline absolutely sucks!

The sand snakes suck and Jamie/Brons attempt to nab the princess was beyond stupid. The entire scenario of 1. Attempting to save the Princess in broad daylight with the prince? 2. Somehow end up in a fight with the Sand Snakes after they vowed revenge a minute earlier? and 3. Surviving this outrageous situation?

The acting is just bad in Dorne.

You're not kidding man. I said the word contrived once before, but this whole Dorne story is the definition of that word. Like...you know the term "jumping the shark"? This is pretty damn close.

I did like them teddies though. ^

How can this happen in the capital? Im glad cersei got arrested( i love margary, doesnt deserve to be on the floor). But couldhnt the entire kingsguard just slaughter the monks??
The Roman emperor's praetorian guard had over 1000 soldiers in it...
and when will theon kill ramsay?

I think it was able to happen quickly because Cersei gave them authority, and since Tommen was a little bitch and didn't just knock them out ASAP, they now have the queen, the Tyrell male heir, and the king's mother as hostages. If the kingsguard shows up on their steps, they can threaten to kill the hostages.

Not sure if Theon will ever kill Ramsay, man. At this point I think it's more likely Sansa will.
