This is far more likely, but I still find it weird that they would use "clever" as a description for Robert.
I agree - maybe an attempt at deception on their part - the producers are likely aware how fans, particularly book readers, tear down every little snippet of information, particularly as they move ahead of the timeline Martin has published to date.

I just said Bran, because the 12 and 7 year olds appear to be sparing with each other, and their eye colors and age differences kind of match up.
I'm not discounting it - with the relative importance of the Stark family, both in the books and in the television series, sheer inertia would have us looking at this possibility for discriminators. "Northern accent" is a hint and a half for our cluess a$$es.

A large boy, with an actor who is 10-12 but playing 7 or 8. He’s described as “a clever boy” who seems too large for his age. He’s big and tall but not fat. “Characterful squat features” are a plus for this part. it’s specified that this is a one-time appearance.
12 year old boy, with brown hair and blue eyes. He needs to use a Northern accent. He has scenes where he has to spar with a wooden sword.
The length of the role isn’t specified.
7 year old boy with dark brown hair, a narrow face and green eyes. He also has a Northern accent. He also spars with the wooden sword, so it’s safe to assume it’s the same scene. This role is similarly open-ended, the description only stating that the character is being ‘introduced.’
So I am the only one thinking this is straight Knight of the Laughing Tree? Brandon, Ned, and Howland would be my guess. Could be a lead up to the reveal of Jon's parentage. Might just be wishful thinking on my part.
