I read about bulletproof coffee. It seemed like the guy took a plausible idea and created an expensive product with it to make money.
I did stop putting any sugar/sweetener in my regular coffee, and put butter/ coconut oil or heavy cream. It holds me up til lunch allowing me to me skip breakfast.
I lost 5 pounds. But I also ate more vegetables, less refined starches, started lifting and trained for a short triathlon about that time. I feel way better than I did at the end of 2014 and attribute it all to the coffee.

To me, a 400 cal fat heavy meal is way more satiating then a 500 cal carb heavy meal, cereal milk and a banana. At 7 AM lotsa eggs and two strips of bacon will get me to 2 o'clock. With cereal in hungry at 10am
exercising can actually make some peoples weight-loss harder, after the loss of calories, your body's job is to regain homeostasis. Thus, your body tells you to eat. And most overweight people are over eaters, so the less often you need to eat, the less likely you are to over eat. It's not the fastest way by far, but I have lost a couple pounds each week this year and not exercised and still had a couple cheap meals a week
