I love how you're taking up for an incompetent, control-freak umpire

If you don't think Harper did anything wrong ...YOU are the fool here.... Harper showed his arse by tip-toeing his foot into the batters box..... Being a smartass.. Just like in the NBA A tech would have def been called.......

You understand that harper doing something wrong and the ump being incompetent and a control freak, can coexist, right? Ump's fault though. At that point anything less than falling perfectly in line and looking away was going to get him tossed.

such a great explanation from the ump...

Hudson insisted that wasn’t the reason. “Had nothing to do with the box,” he told a pool reporter. “He didn’t like the pitch, and I let him have his say, going and coming. “The dugout didn’t like it, and one thing led to another and I had to run him. I had to eject him.” Read more at: LINK /

You keep saying this. Did you watch the video? he doesn't tip toe his foot in the batters box. He was showing the ump that he was standing in the box until the ump and the manager starting arguing the call. Harper said something right when the strike was called and then took one foot out, then the ump and manager start arguing and he walks off a little. Next thing he knows he's thrown out and that's when he loses it, which is understood after getting ejected over something so trivial. Harper would have never even stepped out of the box if the ump didn't stop the game to argue with the manager.

Verbally disagreeing with a call happens in every game, no reason Harper should have been run for this. Williams was the only one needing to be ejected in this.
