Polar bears are the baddest dudes around if you really want to get technical, but of course a Grizzly is the king of the woods in North America. The question I originally was answering was "why would anyone want to kill a bear" or something along those lines. A Grizzly spot and stalk hunt with a bow in the Rockies would be the ultimate hunt IMO basically because a Grizzly can be doing the very same thing to you. Black bears account for 98% of the lower 48 bear population (I think) so that is certainly more doable and not nearly as dangerous as hunting a Grizzly.
