So here's the deal with that...
I knew my friend Paul had gone into that room, and he also had a pistol in that room. I knew if he were in that room then the first person through the door was getting hit. I would rather have been killed by them as opposed to my friend accidentally killing me. You've also got to realize that I saw them shooting down the hallway to where Chad was, I knew the deal and I knew they didn't intend to let me leave that house alive. In my mind, I was already dead; might as well get it over with.
