just drove up I-49 from Alexandria to Shreveport. Every low area was flooded from backwater, from Jean de Jean up to whatever the bayou is that serves as the boundary btw Caddo and DeSoto. The Spanish Lake lowlands were completely flooded, even had a milo crop headed out half under water. Pretty amazing.

Also highway 71 is closed south of Elm Grove. Water over the highway
