Although I've never really cared for attention, being 25, I can understand why these kids do this. The age they live in, there are so many young celebrities. The youtube generation where any average teen or young adult can become famous. The recruiting world itself plays the biggest part in this though. The fanbase (recruiting junkies) created this monster. These kids want to get that 15 minutes however they can before it's up.

However, I can also understand the huge annoyance of it. I don't even look at these top 10, top 15 lists. That's an attention whore. I came in this thread to read the responeses, and hopefully get a laugh or two.

I'm somewhere in the middle. I think that it's stupid to list all these schools, just to grab attention, but listing 5 or 3, I see nothing wrong with that.
