You didn't boldface the right word. So I fixed it for you. There aren't any gas vapors getting inside the cylinders that weren't meant to be there.

it is not the gasoline vapors that would enter the cylinder that would be a problem, as combustion is ok there....gasoline vapors sink and travel along the ground underneath the vehicle where the exhaust system runs...
