He's been at LSU for 10 years. I'd hope he'd have a ton of wins against top 25 teams
Your reading comprehension sucks or you're deliberately stupid. Allegedly, LSU as coached by Les Miles has more ranked wins than any other program during the same time frame.
quote:
No offense, but # of wins is a bit misleading when teams have 13-14 games a season almost guaranteed now compared to 11 before. Hell, there are teams that were 9-2 back in the day that didn't go to bowls, so harping on that success is a bit silly.
Highest winning pct. of any LSU coach who lasted more than 2 seasons.

In 5 years, Saban achieved the same hardware as Miles has basically in 10 year and achieved it with a 1-loss team winning a title, not a two loss team
He also achieved it with a 3-loss team winning a title, not a two loss
quote:
OOC is great when you ignore his OOC losses to PSU, Clemson, and Notre Dame because apparently bowl games (which counted when Les was 4-0 in them from 2005-2008) don't really count anymore.
Yeah, blame Les for Penn State and Notre Dame, not the mulch they played on and the lame duck defensive coordinator....
quote:
Les took over a national championship level team talent-wise when he got here. No other coach took over a team in the shape Les did in the SEC in likely the past 50 years. So I'd hope he'd be successful.
It's funny because you know you're wrong, so you hedge your bet by saying that it's only "likely" that no other coach inherited such a strong team. FYI, Paul Bryant stopped coaching only 32 years ago.
