Brady doesn't have a lot of haters. They hate him because of what he's done on the field but that's not the same thing. He's squeaky clean off of it. Everyone likes him as a person. People would forgive and forget.

If anything, all of this pushback from him is making him a little more unlikeable. If you're looking at this situation reasonably, of course he had something to do with the equipment managers altering the balls. Him carrying on as if he didn't comes off as a little arrogant.

Are you kidding? jealousy breeds hatred. That hatred is not limited to 16-20 sundays a year. NFL fans around the league are jizzing in their pants b/c of this whole situation. ESPN and other media outlets are running with it b/c it's a story. And it's only a story b/c it's Tom Brady. Back to original point... if this is Matt Ryan or Phillip Rivers or just about anyone besides Brady, this story doesn't last a week.
