Well to his point the kids are learning an important lesson here that abstinence would have kept them from getting the clap. The parent part, well that's a wash. If you aren't close enough with your kids to be able to discuss sex in a mature way, then you have bigger issues.

If you believe abstinence keeps you from getting the clap then you must also believe prohibition prevents alcohol abuse and crime. You have to use some common sense and know kids are going to have sex.
My point was not that parents should not talk to their kids it was that he sounded like an idiot. He used ain't in an interview then said it's the parents duty to educate the kids on something that the school provides a class for. He is basically saying out sex education class is not educating the kids so the parents should.
