Mentioning someone doesn't mean you're hung up on them. If you mention a friend are you hung up on them?
Well most people were friends with their exes while they dated. I swear I think this board is full of virgins more and more every day
And that's a really stupid reason to call and complain to someone you've been seeing two weeks

If kids are involved then it brings a new dynamic to this whole conversation. Kids or not, you try to remain civil to your former S/O. However, you're not hanging out with them on the weekends like an old college buddy.
My point: if I'm involved with a girl "seriously" then I'd rather not sit there and talk about a dude she was banging a few months back.
