Maybe so. I just think the Judge is a gimmicky weapon. You could save a good bit of weight with a revolver chambered in 45 colt and only 45 colt if that's what you really wanted.

Personally I don't care for it either, but that's more to do with personal taste than its performance. Some like the extra weight. I think polymer frame pistols at traditional metal frame prices are a gimick. Much cheaper to make.
