I bought a Sleep Innovations memory foam mattress from Amazon. I hate it. It's unbelievable how hard foam can be. Worst mattress I have ever slept on. It's harder than mornin' wood and I do not recommend it.
I've slept on a few TempurPedics, they are the way to go.

Tempurpedic makes some of the hardest mattresses I've ever felt. Don't confuse the brand with the firmness. Everyone makes a range of firmness levels, from soft to practically concrete. Foam isn't all the same.
