For some reason it seems like our pitchers peak before postseason (or just face stiffer competition) and aren't as effective during postseason play the past few seasons. Might be nice to have a fresh pitcher to play a Chad Jones-type role.

It sounds like Latz is just pitching too good to keep him out for post season play. Why else bring him back unless he's just killing it?
