I'll second cinq sentits in barcelona, had one of the best foie gras dishes ever there. Also, la vinateria del call in the gothic quarter is a great place for old school tapas. For a great affordable lunch try el casal, for 11 euros you can get a 3 course meal with a glass of wine.
