There is a lot to be said for this. My best friend just got a new SL Benz that was just over 100k all in with the options he got but it gets around 40mpg, I would bet the 2012 version got around half of that.

I don't think people who buy 100k cars give a shite about gas mileage. I buy $40k cars and don't care about mileage.
