That's one way of looking at it.

Another way (my way) of looking at it is if Harris was performing to his full ability none of us would be having these competition debates, because there would be no competition.

I'm concerned that Harris has not completely left AJ in the dust by now. And I'm concerned with how he will react when he's finally handed the reigns and doesn't have to compete for the job anymore. Will he treat landing the starting QB gig as the starting point or the finish line? No one knows the answer to these questions.

Our only shot at a NC this year is to let Harris fly and relegate Jennings to backup now. We've all seen enough. I'm really disappointed that Les hasn't stepped up and declared this already. So I'm convinced he is conflicted with what is obvious and what he may have promised Jennings thinking there was just no way in hell a QB could have played as badly as he did last year. It was a total shock to everyone, I think.

We can't do any worse with Harris but certainly won't do any better with Jennings.
