Maybe, but I watch a lot of college hoops. Seems a bit more consistent here.

JJ is a good coach. How much better he can become will not be known for a few more yrs. imo
I'd like to see him improve on holding his kids more accountable and to instill a bit more discipline and consistency into his system. Simmons is already accountable, disciplined and coachable already IMHO, so it helps to have your best player lead by example with the rest of the team and it helps CJJ as a coach.
I want CJJ to succeed because I love LSU hoops and if he succeeds we are successful. But I think it's fair to say he can do better at some of the other aspects of coaching outside recruiting and he'll need to in order to get us where we all should want the program to be.

Sure....it's fair to say he can do better.
It's also fair to say LSU basketball was at a very poor talent level when JJ took over and he has changed that pretty quickly. In my mind, recruiting is the #1 skill a college basketball coach must excel at and everything else is a distant, distant 2nd. Selling basketball at LSU to talented guys who can go to lots of basketball schools in not an easy task.
I am pleased with JJ's effort and results to this point in time. Yeah, it would have been nice to have reached the 2nd round, but I didn't see coaching as the reason we didn't.
My biggest complaint at this time is the fact JJ didn't land that difference maker pt. guard in his 1st 3 yrs here.
