The fact that the students also were involved kicking and hitting a knocked out person is most disturbing to me.

Apparently three hit but only two were arrested. There are a few large facts missing from this story.
The mom attacking was caught on video. The subsequent attacks were caught on video.
Since we know there is a video camera, can we assume the girls earlier bad behavior in the hall that was stopped by the teacher is also on video?
Mom clearly has no self control. She has no knowledge or respect for the rules society lives by. Why is her bail only $10k? She is a clear danger to anyone she comes in contact with.

That abject stupidity and under developed conflict resolution skills shouldn't surprise anyone that grew up in places like the Mississippi River delta....where I am assuming most posters are from.
Clearly that school needs more security and better leadership. That teacher should file a lawsuit against her employer if that's possible. Violence in the workplace is a disaster for morale.
