I remember one episode they caught a 30ish year old dude that was clearly not right in the head. He cried and apologized, went to jail, posted bail, and THEN THEY CAUGHT HIM AGAIN THE NEXT DAY.

That was the first season before they started arresting people on site.
In the first season the phrase "you're free to go" wasn't just a cruel joke, they really just let them go because the police weren't involved
So that guy got busted, never arrested and then got caught by them again the same day. The next season they brought in the swat
