Yeah, I'm unsure on that one. You're looking at about $2k in materials. I don't know about labor and can't really judge it. I tried to gauge this off of my house which is about that size. I came up with about 6000sf of paintable surface and 1100lf of trimwork. But yeah, no way it's $18k for labor.

I was using an estimating website and most of the other ones came close to my guesses so I went with it. Further analyzation proves it wrong.

You can save money doing simple but labor intensive things. Electrical and plumbing are easy if you have a brain. Buy a book and figure it out. Flooring labor is a lot but labor intensive.
One thing I will NEVER do again is tape float and finish drywall. Maybe never hang it again either. F that stuff.
