Hmmm. . . just picked up a couple and haven't used them much yet, but all my other reels are Saharas and their performance has been superb over the last 3 years I have used them. I can only imagine the Symetre's will be even better.

thanks for the advice everyone i got busy and couldn't respond yesterday.
I'm a shimano guy just b/c i've never had issues with their products and have had good customer service as well. Also have a 50% discount on Shimano stuff right now so I'm gonna stick with them for now. I have a few curados, some saharas and a symetre already. Mostly 3000s for trout fishing. This'll be the first freshwater largemouth setup i've purchased in awhile AND wanted something a little smaller.
Gonna go with the 2500. Thanks for the help everyone.
