you shouldn't pick based on safest. you pick based on value of the position and quality of the player. regardless, I am fine with any of the picks between OLB, RT (temp Guard), CB, DT, WR or *gasp* QB.
Personally I really want Shelton. Not sure if he will drop to us, but lately it seems he has been cooling in many rankings. That's good for us, but maybe they don't want to go that route. I personally think it's the best player for us, but I'm just a guy typing at a computer

Don't sell yourself short. I'm almost positive the FO scours Saints Talk for guidance when it comes down to the hard decisions.
