That's the wonderful thing about the draft...every guy there is a potentially great player.

This draft is one of the most critical drafts in recent memory because of the many holes on defense and glaring needs at some offensive spots. History tells us LBs and OLs picked in the first are the safest bet and we need both. So, that's where I'd focus.

you shouldn't pick based on safest. you pick based on value of the position and quality of the player. regardless, I am fine with any of the picks between OLB, RT (temp Guard), CB, DT, WR or *gasp* QB.

Personally I really want Shelton. Not sure if he will drop to us, but lately it seems he has been cooling in many rankings. That's good for us, but maybe they don't want to go that route. I personally think it's the best player for us, but I'm just a guy typing at a computer
