There was a Chinese restaurant in the mid 90s in BR, Chings I think. Someone started a rumor that they were shut down by the board of health for serving cat. The rumor affected their business so much, that they put disclaimers in their commercials "Was not closed by the board of health."

I remember Chings/Shings (sp)
They could never bounce back from the dog and Car rumors.
